Family of four here and curious if anyone with the Summit has done any mods to convert the bunk cods into a platform and have a queen size memory foam bad there instead. Been looking at this trailer and others and always come back to this one due the to pop up feature and all the inside storage that comes with it.

How efficient is the heater in sub freezing weather with the pop up open and are there any water intrusion concerns from the canvas the way it is built?

We currently do overland camping in a 1st gen Tacoma with roof top tend, but with the kids getting older and bigger room is getting to be a premium, hence we are looking for alternatives that can be towed behind and can handle some moderate off-road trails.

The trailer has been great in bad weather. I just got back from a trip where the night time temps dropped into single digits and the heater will keep the cabin very warm.

It is too small for four people even with the bunk bed option.
