Resolved Missing Member on map

Hello,

I have selected the “yes” show my location on the map, prompted the “members” filter in the map header and I am not showing up . My city and state are listed in my profile. Any ideas?

Probably need to request support to get this working for you, at least that is the way it used to be. If you search around the forums you will see that you are not the first person to face this issue.

It is weird because it “had been” on there because I laughed at the spot in my little town it had my dot was in the ritzy neighborhood, I certainly don’t live there......LOL

Looks like it is the support section but I had to specifically request support to show up on the map. That was a long time ago and I am just going by hazy memory ;) If you don’t enter your Lat/Lon you will be placed at the same “random” spot in your town as others. For my town there are a bunch of folks clustered around the local grocery store.

@Jim SoG, @Kent R - do you have any wisdom to offer?

There are no other members in my town......no members within 30-40-50 miles of my town

I THINK IT HAS BEEN SOLVED...................................I just was looking for another member on the map and when I opened it up, my dot was there, right where it should be. How strange is that? Not in the ritzy neighborhood today, today I am standing at the bank......LOL

Great, just remember your location is not near your actual address only in the vicinity for security reasons.
