THIS IS (true) HUMOR, NOT A COMPLAINT!!!
Soooo, the MXT575 goes out in my runner and throws a code on the handheld that can only be accessed in reset mode. I get ahold of Midland directly trying to figure out what the code is and how I can fix it. They inform me I need to send it in to get looked at... alright not an issue. I send it off and throughout this entire process customer support is keeping me informed as to whats going on, they sent a return label to use to return it, and answered any questions to the best of their ability. Pleasant to say the least. Word came back that the tech decided the radio was F'd and that a replacement was necessary. Well shoot, except for the fact it was under warranty still. OK, so they send me a new radio to replace the bad one. Now mind you im out exactly nothing at this point and I have 4 handhelds that I carry, the base station was not missed at all. Ok, so I get a text from my ol lady today. My BRAND SPANKING NEW RADIO has shown up at the house (im currently at work for another week). YIPPEE, now I get to rip my dash apart (again) and put the radio back where it goes. Im so excited I can hardly contain myself at this point. Annnd then she sends me this picture. And I ask you, oh loyal reader who made it to the end of this long winded thread, what is wrong with this picture (did I mention I drive a 4runner?)
