Michigan overlanding

So relatively new to the overlanding world and noticed there didn’t seem to be a ton of talk about overlanding in Michigan so I figured I’d start the conversation! Here’s a few pictures from my latest trip in early November just south of the mackinaw bridge. If you’ve been on any cool trips or trails in this state feel free to post! So much to see here between all the trails in both the upper and lower peninsula.

We drove up to the Manistee forest last year. It was an awesome trip with lots of easy wheeling. You've got a great state up there.

That looks like a blast! I’ve been trying to get over there for a while now but for whatever reason can’t seem to make it happen. Hopefully this next spring! Did you by chance get a trail map while you were there? I thought I read online you could get one from a ranger station maybe?

I had them mail me the paper MVUM and also used Gaia downloads. I got the map request info from the same website as the ORV, ORV Trail stickers and the MI sportsmans ID card. I think the ranger stations have them too.
