Good morning all. My name is Gordon and I live in San Doego, California. I have joind our local jeep club and now am looking to explore more of southern California. Occasionally, my family and I tent camp with a stock 2015 Wrangler JK Unlimited but i would concider myself a novice overlander.

Greetings from Alaska! F150 with a DIY cargo camper conversion and just got a F250 with a four wheel camper (Hawk model). Slide in. Loving the new setup as it gets me places I cant tow a trailer.

Welcome to OB. I tow a Hiker Trailer EOR and have yet to find a place I can’t take it. It helps that I had it modified to fit 35” tires.

Hi Everyone

Location: Australia - northern NSW - east coast
Vehicle: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7L
Experience: Many decades camping and exploring, but this is my first 4WD (AWD vehicles previously)
Mods: In the building stage at the moment but so far I have fitted -
SRT bonnet
Offroad Animal front bar with recovery hooks and bash plates
Offroad Animal sliders / steps
Offroad Animal roof rack
Gobi ladder
2x 20 inch LED light bars (Stedi)
2x 7 inch LED light bars Stedi)
2x cube fog lights
18 inch factory wheels (replacing factory 20 inch)
Falken AT/4 Wildpeaks 265/65/18
Catch can
Runva 1200lb winch
Extended diff and transfer case breathers
Mopar tow bar - yet to be fitted along with Redarc brake controller
GME UHF

Future mods:
Murchison Snorkel
JBA upper control arms
180 degree side awning
Bushwacker flares
Roof mounted 36 inch LED light bar (Lazer)
MSA Tow Mirrors
Tesla style head unit - 14.5 inch
Long Ranger fuel tank (75L in addition to factory 90L)
Complete 12volt system with second battery
Evacool 45L drawer fridge
Rear seat delete
100L water bladder
Plus more to be added to the list, lol

Intended use: upon retirement I will be living in offroad caravan fulltime while traveling Australia, the Jeep will be setup for independent travel to some more challenging places that the caravan can't go, this will allow 7-10 days independent travel from the caravan.

I look forward to gaining knowledge from the Forum.

Peter
