Hello and Nice to meet you!

I'm Greg, soon to be 23, I live in north Finland (Close to artic circle)
I've just learned the term "Overlanding" but I have done it with my family as child numerous times. Guess I'm just a little after Novice :)
I don't have a car but I plan on getting one relatively soon!
Me and my partner have a crazy plan we are dead set on doing in over 3 years - Finland to Japan by car! I came here seeking for information and the help of people who have much more experience than me :) I'm still not completely familiar with the platform but, would anyone know where I could post the details of the trip we have already planned? Unless here is fine of course...
Thank you for your help!
Greetings Greg, welcome to Overland Bound!

Hi Greg,

Welcome to Overland Bound.

I am one of the European Ambassadors for Overland Bound.

Look around here and you'll find plenty of good information about overlanding in Europe and many members who are happy to help you. In the regional subforums you will also find a lot of information. Check the map for POIs and members nearby and please take a look at the Rally Points for planned meetups. There you can filter by region, e.g. Scandinavia for Finland.

If you have any questions please ask. I am always happy to help.

Greetings from currently Spain,
Bjoern

Greetings, new member introduction here.
Looking forward to getting into a deep dive of everything the membership offers.
Limited experience to off roading & overlanding.
60 something, close to retirement.
Location PNW, Based in Wa. State and a second spike camp in western Montana.
Gear list 2021 Jeep Wrangler 392, 2015 Jeep Wangler, 2024 Turtleback Expedition.
I have dipped my toe into the Wa BDR, section 1 last fall, part of section 4 this past weekend.
Both trips were solo, day trips no trailer.
Curious about other peoples experiences with the Wa BDR while pulling a trailer.
I am a bit hesitant to strike out with the trailer, without more knowledge of where I'm going and what I'm getting into.

Welcome Ricky! I am also in the PNW, living in the Portland area. Brand new to overlanding and currently building my 2010 4Runner.

Hi Cristian,

Welcome to Overland Bound.

I am one of the European Ambassadors for Overland Bound.

In the regional subforums you will also find a lot of information. Check the map for POIs and please take a look at the Rally Points for planned meetups to connect with the community. There you can filter by region, e.g. MidEurope for Germany. Several meetups are planned for Europe this year, some took place alread, others to come.

In October several members will be at the Fernweh Camp which is just around the corner from where you are based.

If you have any questions regarding OB, overlanding, the app etc. please ask. Always happy to help.
