Hallo PaulHi all - new to the group and new to overloading. We moved to Utah from Michigan and found a great love of all the BLM land and trails.
We are just getting into overloading - definitely newbies. We haven't ventured anything more difficult than White Pocket or Peek a Boo in Kanab, but hoping to expand beyond those areas. For the moment all of those basic dirt roads and trails have been incredible! Will definitely be looking for expert advice from ya'll with more experience.

Hey Dingus! (FANTASTIC name btw ) Welcome to the community! There are tons of helpful, good people here. I’m a backpacker as well and overlanding is a great way to augment those outdoor experiences! Please feel free to reach out anytime!Hello Overland Bound Community!
I'm Dingus, and I'm new to Overlanding. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of rig I want to build, so there's no photo just yet.
I'm located in Wisconsin
I have spent 20+ years as a backpacker and I want to stretch my outdoor adventures past the hiking trail and have it be more all-encompassing with a mobile base of sorts that can get me deeper into the wilderness before the hike starts.
Looking forward to doing some research and learning from the collective knowledge of this forum.
