Hello all,

I am new to overlanding, but have done a bit of camping. Getting a little old for the sleeping on the ground thing.
I am from the Ft Lauderdale Florida area, where there is not much of what most of you would consider 'overlanding.' However, I have friends in NW Montana and have visited many times. Love the NW. I currently do not have a rig, but plan on retiring in the next few months, and selling the bigger saltwater boat and F250 to help fund an exploring rig.

I will probably lurk a bit and follow the comments as I gain experience. Glad to be aboard.

I am the Bay Area member rep and I can help connect you to meet ups that are happening near you. In Pleasanton CA there is a meet up on the second Sunday’s of the month and it has a great regular turn out and active. The East Bay meet up has a great 2022 lined up and you are invited!
