Yeah, there sure are a lot! I was looking at a map yesterday, and I didn't realize how many forests are north of here too. In Calif I've only gone to El Dorado Natl Forest, but then I see Plumas, Lassen, Shasta-Trinity up there..! Can't wait for a bit of warmer weather!Eldorado National Forest, Strawberry Pass, Slick Rock, Deer Valley, Slate Mt., Rubicon (maybe not in your new truck), Fordyce, Walker Ridge, and then yes to the south Dusy, Whiskey, Brewer
then way north to Porland area

Good list but Strawberry or Long Canyon are no longer options in the El Dorado after the fire.Eldorado National Forest, Strawberry Pass, Slick Rock, Deer Valley, Slate Mt., Rubicon (maybe not in your new truck), Fordyce, Walker Ridge, and then yes to the south Dusy, Whiskey, Brewer
then way north to Porland area

Hello Bryce, welcome to Overland Bound!Hello my name is Bryce and I and very new to over landing and camping as a whole. So far I have camped in Mt. Charleston and Lytle Creek California, both with my amazing and beautiful girlfriend. We are traveling in a new to me 2013 Chevy Silverado with a bed tent. We have built a raised platform for a queen sized bed so we have ample room in the back. We live in Las Vegas and hope to explore all around.

Hello Lorne, welcome to Overland Bound!Hey guys, my name’s Lorne from Red Deer Alberta Canada. I just bought a used 2019 4Runner I plan on eventually gearing up for overlanding. First order are tires.
At the moment I’m just a “visiting member “ and plan on getting a full membership but need to know just how active are the Canadian member here.
I’ll try to post a pic of my rig (completely stock atm) but I’m not very tech so I might botch it.
Anyways, this is me. Looking forward to talking with you guys about rigs and trails and sharing some stories.
