Hello All
I have 4WD experience more than 30 years ago in a Chevy Blazer with my family growing up, but I am really a Ford enthusiast (learned to drive in a Mustang in the 70's). Don't have a rig now but a Ford Bronco is reserved so it will be a handful of months yet . . . just getting an early start here, LOL!
I live fulltime in Placentia, CA (Orange County) but spend a lot of time in Lake Arrowhead CA as well.
Looking forward to this renewed passion unfolding, and happy to be a member as I learn more about today's world of overland adventure.

Hey all! So, Overlanding. Long story short, I'm not an overlander or anything near it yet. Currently driving a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD, and located in the FT. Drum, NY area. Active duty soldier, outdoor lover, my outdoor experience is backpacking, camping, a little army survival stuff. Overlanding is something I really want to get into, and my wife and I are already looking at Rubicon's so we can get off on a good solid foot.

As far as I knew my profile said what l drive and I put a pic of my jeep. Didn't realize I had to to tell everything that was done to it. I see lots of members with out a pic.
But here goes 2017 JKU Recon 3.5 lift metalclock 35 x 11.5 mud terrain this year we started offroading and overlanding did white rim,hells revenge and a few other trails in Utah and around Minnesota.is this good enough or do you need to know more. And here is two pictures that all I can pull up here. If this is not enough about me then let me know!!! Like I said I'm new to this!!!! So cut me a little slack!!!!!!!!

“For Strength and Honor”. Former Spartan here.
Lots of places to explore up there in the Andriondacks. I spent the majority of my 15 years stationed at Drum; lived an hour away up in Gouvernour. Spent all my spare time exploring either the St Lawrence River, or the Andriondack mountains from Black River to St. George. Some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever had the chance of visiting... winter time I got in with some local mushers to explore...

I'm Tim, from Louisville, KY. I just picked up my first soft-roader and looking to do adventuring with my family. I watched several of the YouTube videos from Overland Bound members. Hi all, I became a member at flagstaff overland expo last year but have been working, traveling and AdvTurin mostly on my KTM 1190 adventure, so am now posting for the first time here. I just bought a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a bad engine and am in the process of pulling the engine for a rebuild. Truck adventure is a newer thing for me as I have always been on motorcycle so I am excited for a different type of travel!!!
