Hello Everyone,

My name is Patrik, based in Hollister Ca,

Lurked here for a while, been involved in Overlanding for many decades. Started as a Crawler in the early 90’s, but played in the dirt my whole life. I have built rigs from the ground up, for myself and for others, and always have unfinished projects and no free time.

Currently “overland” my ‘20 Gladiator, “wheel” my ’93 FJ80, and “Adventure” my ’21 Africa Twin. In my many years of dirt, I have walked away from several “groups” for many of the same reasons that OB was founded, so I identify deeply with the core principles. Recently took a position where I travel up and down the west coast for work, so more reason to explore, but more time stuck in hotel rooms with nothing to do but more work. So “lurk mode” off.
Hello Patrik, welcome to the OB family.

Hello everyone,
My name is Brent.
I'm in East Texas
I'm a long time Bronco owner, I've had several.
I'm new to over landing and decided to rig my current 95. Here's what I'm starting with.
Hello Brent (@Bsull7), welcome to Overland Bound. I am your Southwest Region Member Rep for Texas. You're kinda out in no mans land as far as Texas goes, but close to some nice National Forests in Arkansas and Louisiana.

It's a bit of a hike, but there are a couple DFW area meetups you can check out here: DFW OB meet and greet & DFW - Meet & Greet

Local information and involvement opportunities can be found here: Southwest Region (AZ/NM/TX/OK)

Looking to meet fellow members? Check out the Meet-Up event page: Overland Bound Meetups

Events in the SW region can be found here: Overland Bound Events SW Region

Want to know what members are planning? You can find out here: Overland Trip Planning

Also, if you are on Facebook, feel free to join us there as well - Overland Bound – Southwest

If you have any questions, please just let me know.

Hello everyone, glad to finally be a member. I put off buying a membership as I never had the right vehicle! However I found a good one, 2006 Toyota 4Runner V8. Anyone who knows about the 4th gens know these are decent rigs. I’m from Kansas City, Mo and I’m currently a lineman apprentice!

Thanks for the info. I'm originally from SE Oklahoma and still go back there often to hunt, fish and hike. I'd definitely make a trip to D/FW for a meet up. That sounds like fun.

Hello there. I’m new.

My name is Rush and the wife is Laura. We run both a 2013 Jeep JK and a 2019 Toyota Tundra. We have been overlanding for about two years. We also have a fairly new off road trailer and soon we will mount our RTT and other gear.

We are located in the Bay Area. We’ve done two longish trips to both the Colorado western slope and southwestern Utah.

Thanks!

Hello All! New member here. I live in Radford, VA... but plan on being completely NOMADIC in 4 years and just hunt gold and treasure all across the U.S. My name is Will, and I grew up infatuated with IRON MAN and VIDEO GAMES. I hold a few world records in games before Esports came to be...but now at 52, the age and slower reaction timing has kept my glory in check :*( I JUST bought my 2015 Toyota 4Runner Trail Premium Edition from a Lt. Col. in the Air Force two months ago. I will be out west eventually, but need to finish transforming it within 4 years. At 56 I plan to be done working for the "MAN" and start spending full time chasing my own dreams. I'm glad to be a part of the community and want to thank Michael and others for bringing this community together! :P
