Been there and loved the drive into the Cove. I have to say Upper Gaspe' was higher on 'my' list. Camped by 3 lighthouses, spending the afternoon counting the Minke's swimming by.
We were there last fall the week before they closed. Campground was about full and the afternoon was beautiful. About dark the wind picked up and absolutely howled all night. We were camping in a Shiftpod2 which is very wind resistant but it was a sleepless night. Around 4:30 am many of the van campers and motorhomes cranked up and left. They had been rocked all night like everyone else.
