Heading over bc way this weekend. Planning on a stop at the springs. Obviously no free camping in the provincial park @whiteswan but anyone know if you can free camp all the surrounding forestry roads same as here in Alberta?
Can't wait to be out

Yes. You can. And on the road into the hot springs are a few good spots down short trails.

There are a lot of spots around there for camping. If you want a lake, fire ring, and table check out Johnson;
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/49°57'19.0"N+115°45'47.1"W/@49.9552864,-115.765277,587m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d49.955283!4d-115.763083

If you're just looking for a quiet spot to set-up look at google map and check out all the landings around.. any of those should give you a flat quiet spot to overnight.
Johnson looks interesting. Think we'll hit the springs then do some exploring after lunch to find the right spot. Wonder how busy it'll be this early in the season?

Landed there last night. Fabulous. Went on the far side of the lake as the near side was occupied and had the place to ourselves. Thanks so much for the recommendation, only 'concern' was the morning loon wake up call!

Glad you enjoyed it, I spent a lot of weekends camping there as a kid, fish don't bite, but lots of turtles to catch.
