Looking to buy my first set of bed rack bars from TacomaBeast. However I do have some questions/concerns.

I want a low profile set so when I have my rtt mounted it sits more flush with the cab.
Will that potentially block my view for my rearview mirror? Can you break some state laws like that? Does it even matter? I've attached the set I want for reference...

My girlfriend wants me to with the higher set so we're higher off the ground while camping :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

So whats your advice or experiences from past and present set ups?

You will block your view and will not get to use all cargo area of your bed with the short rack. If you plan on having an annex with your rtt, you will not be high enough off the ground to use full length of the walls. I have the full height rack for all these reasons. 20190801_165328.jpg20190907_140421.jpg

@Chadlyb DUDE!! That's awesome! I never even thought about the annex not being tall enough. Love your set up!

Thanks for the advice and insight!!!
