Leaving on Thursday June 18 from Los Angeles and heading toward Fraser CO.
Looking for route ideas/input, and things to stop/see along the way.
I've eyeballed a couple of different route ideas.

Option 1: Up the eastern Sierra's cut across Nevada and into Utah. Rim rocker trail from UT into CO and then working my way up toward Fraser.
Option 2: East out of LA along I-40, and then take enchanted rockies trail up into CO
Option 3: (might be too hot?): East to Flagstaff, and then meander north east out of Flagstaff toward Colorado.
I'm in an '03 LX470 (stock suspension), wife, 2 kids (5 and 7). Not looking for rock crawling/hard core trails, but looking for cool things to see (vistas), places to stop at (roadside attractions, etc), can't miss camp sites. I have 6 days to get from here to there, and then will have ~3-4 days to get back after the 4th of July
