Moose River Plains has 150 primitive sites, each with a fire pit and outhouse.

As an FYI... (born and raised in the ADK). Hearing from folks back home that ”everyone” has come up to the Adirondacks (which doesn’t make the natives very happy either). I would suggest you check for availability before just heading out. Also, Covid has effected things and many things also close down after Labor Day in a normal year, and this sure isn’t normal.
