Looking for camping options!

I am helping a buddy of mine drive his 4Runner from Boulder to NYC and I was hoping someone might be able to recommend some camping spots along the way. Our plan is to head up to the Badlands/Mt Rushmore area and camp Friday night, then camp somewhere between Minneapolis and Green Bay Saturday night, then another spot somewhere in the Southern Lake Michigan area Sunday night. Any help is appreciated.

Not sure I can help with any camping locations, but I would put in a plug here for the Crazy Horse monument that's under construction near Mt. Rushmore. Very worthwhile and something to tell your grandkids about. Enjoy the drive!

I would rethink if you plan on camping in the next week as Temps are going to take a massive drop with the current polar vortex dropping down.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Just wrapping up a few things in Boulder, then we hit the road. @fj80toyman the crazy horse monument is definitely on our list of stops.
