Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Lone Sequoia campground

So, undaunted by the lack of responses I ventured out to Lone Sequoia Campground to test the repair on the 4runner. It is one of a few campgrounds in Sierra National Forest OHV (Miami Mnt ) area, which seems expansive and from my little poke around pretty good. Plenty of dispersed sites.
While I was limited ( due to the error which will not be named sapping my confidence in the rig and thus vastly reducing my bravery ) I did explore some around the Kamook Staging area.
Forest Roads
6S14 Passable did the first section, not a lot of snow.
6S24 - Passable the first section did not venture down in the valley due to snow and plenty of it
6S15, 6S41 - Pretty good, very mild sections, some sloppy areas due to snowmelt. AWD doable.
Overall will be going back!
