I'm working on one, but I have zero Photoshop or design experience. I'm trying to make the compass look old and weathered. Any ideas on what I should change overall? It feels like it might have too much vertical height.

We use a basic AMO with mountains for die cut stickers and embroidery. Clean, simple, easy.
