I love the Overland Bound iOS app but my iPhone has limited space and processing power. Its also prone to overheating when used extensively for logging, maps and planning tasks. I'd like to see a Linux App for the desktop so I can use my laptop instead of my phone while I'm overlanding. Using the browser is not energy efficient and means that no offline features are available. It also means that the processing power of the laptop is wasted even though I have it with me at all times for work. I'm not willing to pay for Overland Bound if constant internet connectivity and a browser tab is required. I'm also not going to buy a costly flagship version of an iPhone or Android phone so that the app can have more features. I already have a powerful computer.
I'm requesting an OB software application. I don't think that this is unreasonable since desktop software is easier to create than it has ever been.
