Let's see those full size rigs - Trucks & SUV

Taken me some time but I finally got good tires on my truck. Owned it almost a year now with no major issues. Bought some rims earlier this year and about a month ago I scored me a somewhat used set of 6 BFG KO3's. Hoping to get a chance to do some trails before winter gets here. For now here's a shot of the truck.View attachment 295451
Nice looking rig! Those Yukons are roomy. I like the BFG ATs. I had them on my Jeep for a few years. Got any other plans for it in the near future?

Thank you! I am going to install a light bar up front. The lowbeams are alright but the highbeams in these aren't any brighter than the lows. It's just more economical and simpler to install a light bar than to try and find a better headlight for this model. I'll probably make a new thread in the build section once I get the light bar installed and get some first hand experience on some trails to see what else I feel I need to add.

That sounds like a smart move, Nick. A light bar will definitely make a big difference on the trails, especially with those dim factory lights. Looking forward to seeing your build thread once you get it set up.

I took her out for her first test run on an easy forest service road two weeks ago. She's got fresh shocks, new tires, steering has been overhauled, and a Detroit Truetrac installed in the front axle, to compliment the factory rear e-locker.

Heres a start! These Ditch light brackets worked perfect on my 2014!!

Awesome, thanks! If you've got any other 'must haves' pass them my way!

For me at least, a must have is a winch. At a factory 8800lbs, I need to pull myself out if need be. I got this one one off Amazon but I was disappointed with it so I modified it. It is a 3 piece, bolted together yet the seams were poorly off. So I welded it, used bondo and then a bed liner cover.
Now I love it!!! 12k winch fits perfectly. Then I added a wireless controller so I don’t have to fit my hand down that tiny hole while in knee deep crap!!! If you want the parts list, I can send it!
