It was a bit cold at night even inside the Jeep. But it was a huge change for me as well! I drove to upper rim of lake Tahoe straight from near Mojave.
Inyo National Forest around 10500 feet in elevtaion, the weekend before the snow.
on the road to literally nowhere...but the peace and quiet was spectacular !

hard to find a V8 in the UK...petrol prices would kill you..mines a 2.7 v6 diesel and that' bad enough !

I was about to say you won....no chance of a better looking photo but then those shots of Imogen came up and now I don't know how to pick one or the other. Just amazing all of them. This is why we do it right? Nature really humbles us all.
