thats pretty much the perfect set up...
really like that swing away tire carrier
10/10
Thanks! The swing is a RIG'd Ultraswing. I've had it for years, and it's been on the rig for tens of thousands of off-road miles. It carries a pretty heavy 40" spare wheel/tire combo, a 5-gallon rotopax (I use it as my outdoor "sink"), my trash bag, and my chainsaw (with spare chains, bar oil, etc.). I've also used the hitch extension portion to tow or carry a bike rack. So far, it's solid, hasn't sagged, or really given me any issues. With the fold-down table, it becomes the most used, handiest part of my setup.
As for the overall rig, I agree it's my ultimate setup. Every time I start thinking about changing it out, I quickly realize I'd be crazy. There are other rigs that would have a little more convenience/comfort (something like a Rossmonster Baja Trail), there are other rigs that would be a little more capable on extreme trails (like a Gladiator on tons and 42"s), and there are other rigs that would be better on-road. But I really can't come up with a setup that would be a better combo of all of those things, plus give the range I have (60-gallon fuel tank and surprisingly good mileage). I've added a lot of lithium, solar, and all-electric appliances in the camper (including an AC/heat pump) as well, and generally continue to refine the setup.
The grass is always greener, but with this truck/camper I'm pretty darn happy.
