Have 99' LX470 that bought in 2004 with 29k miles. Maintained regular oil changes and maintenance (except timing belt) until now at 153k miles. Was going to get rid of it, but wife said no so going to mod for overlanding. Starting with vehicle maintenance items and need input on what other than listed here I need to look at. I have the following parts to begin replacement: timing belt kit with water pump (and gasket) and pulleys, serpentine belt (2 one to replace and one for on road repairs) and tensioner, fan pulley bracket and clutch, radiator hoses (top & bottom), heater hose T's, spark plugs , thermostat, and regular maintenance items (oil, filters, air & cabin filters). I am also looking at changing out my fuel injectors with 12 hole Denso fuel injectors (any feed back on these will help). I am also seriously thinking cam seals since I will have it apart. Everything OEM.
Keeping the AHC for now, but shocks and springs?
