Kia Sportage anyone?

I'm building an 06 2.7 Sportage EX as my first rig. It's cheap, pretty nice, decently reliable, and it has a "locking did". Now I see plenty of guys building the generation before mine but is anyone else doing a second gen? I've also noticed a lot of Sorentos. Anyone know if much will cross over? ‍♂ I might just go to the junk yard and start measuring stuff.

Nice to see someone doing Kias ;)
I have a 3rd gen Sportage, which I think is even tougher to find "offroad" parts for compared to 2nd gen. Also 2nd gen seems more practical imo.
But I made mine as well, and it worked out not bad so far.
