If you had to pick one for a spring trip, what would you pick and why?

Both are about the same distance from my home and I can only do one this year.

KAT.

GT is alright, really casual and nice sights through the mountains.

KAT has more wheeling.

That’s he kind of input I am lookin for. I am taking a Hmmwv so I don’t mind being able to beat on it as hard as I need to.

I have been up to my ears in YouTube videos trying to gather intel on the two tracks.

Thanks for the input.

On the GT, I've only ever had to use a strap to pull my land rover out of one of our camps. But that was only because it was loaded down and I didn't have the bump stops installed yet, so the rear would jam into the wells when I had to get out of a rut. Other than that, we have just had smooth trips. Lots of little places to stop off at, small towns, waterfalls, etc.
We are headed down parts of it this weekend, just to view the leaves. Thats about the only time we hit it.

Multiple routes, its always changing. So the GPX is updated often by Jeff Stoess, he takes paypal donations, in which he gives out stickers as well.
