Front one is most likely the one you saw as it’s local to the Lafayette area and the other one is mine and has been tucked away waiting for a new axle half shaft and other drivetrain parts for a few months.

I saw the one on the left in Fremont/Milpitas the other day.Did it look like one of these?

I'm pretty sure i saw one of these guys on a flat bed over the summer. I think it was a Disco 2 though. I have a picture somewhere.
There was one in downtown Saratoga a few months back, I can't recall if it was a disco or Range Rover , but I questioned its authenticity. It was basically yellow with what looked like a vinyl trophy badge on the door.
View attachment 42167 Vary cool! I got lucky in Leadville back in the summer of 2014, we got to see a camel trophy Discovery and meet Ken Cameron!
Getting my license in the late 70's, the Camel Trophy Range/Land Rover's were my definition of off road cool. Does anyone remember the first year of the series? Jeeps were used. But either the 2nd or 3rd year, Land Rover was THE official vehicle and defined the series.
