Jeep Tops

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I run both, depending on the weather. Unfortunately I am currently running with my hardtop as I have a puppy that refuses to stay in the cargo area. With the hardtop, I am able to fit a barrier between the rear seat and the cargo area and that keeps him out of the copilot's seat.

That dog would drive the Jeep if I let him! Once he is better trained to stay in the back, I will go back to the soft-top in the warmer weather. Until then, thank goodness for air conditioning!

I have both - hard top and a soft top. Originally, I just had the soft top and then bought a hard top a few years ago. I'll won't go back. Much more comfortable to drive with the hard top in terms of wind noise.

I've been meaning to get rid of my soft top but I don't have a great way to remove the hard top by myself so it keeps hiding under the hard top. One day...
