ipad navigation / overlanding apps for canadians?

Enthusiast III

I know there are lots of american based ipad apps for our use, how about some recommendations on the Canadian app situation. I have topo canada on it now, but thats it.

Lifestyle Overland did a run up to Alaska and they use Gaia. They did some YouTube segments on the Canadian portion of their trip. You might be able to get some ideas from those vids on how useful Gaia might be.

For me Gaia been really good! You can save your trips and add note (camping spots, offroad trail etc).
Good apps

I was looking at gaia, looks good. The only now, is that my ELM 327 adapter does not work with my ipad. It does however work with my old 60 dollar android tablet. I may go that route instead now. I don't want to because of how fast my ipad is compared to it, but I really want vehicle monitoring in my rig.

Update on this, I am trying Gaia, it looks great, I see what people like it. Anyone know if the elm327 works with the ipad on some of the scanning and monitoring apps? Or, is there a substitute I can use?
