It’s the amazing dichotomy of Overlanding.

I didn’t see any POV - just a list of several videos, I presume to increase views. The article itself was pretty useless.

Overlanding today has little to do with getting out anymore. There are are handful that actually do get out, the rest are just searching for a way to burn vacation budgets on gear that will never be used properly after people find out that there are bugs, rain, and no toilets “out there”.

All that crap weighs to much, costs to much and is overly complicated. Spend your weight on beer, your money on good food and your thoughts on finding points on a map you want to see. Then go. Alot...
