Hi Everyone
This can be a day trip or overnight, you pick what you want to do.
Palouse Falls and Tucannon Fish Hatchery Overnight
Palouse Falls is known for its dramatic geology shaped by the Missoula Floods around 12,000 to 15,000 years ago, which carved out the surrounding landscape and is Washington's official state waterfall.
We are going to head out Saturday Feb 28th from Post Falls Maverick for the CDA area people and then meet up with the Spokane area folks at NomNom just south of Spokane. Please plan to arrive at 7:45am and 8:30am respectively to head down through Colfax WA to Palouse Falls. Pack a lunch for the falls area and a WA Discover Pass. From there you can head home if you’d like to just do a day trip or you can head to camp approximately an hour or so away up near the Tucannon Fish Hatchery area. From there we will head up Tucannon Road till we find a suitable campground, roughly marked on the GPX file to download here.
