Hi Everyone!

My name is Dave, aka PapaDave, and the Inland Northwest Adventure Group had an amazing 2025 going on 19 trips.
For 2026 you are invited!

It really doesn’t matter what you drive as long as your vehicle is as capable as you need it to be. There really isn’t a perfect vehicle or set up so we choose to not get hung up on how outfitted your vehicle is, what’s important is that your vehicle is prepared and capable to tackle the trail you want to explore.

A little about me, I have now coordinated 3 different regional meet ups over the last 8 years and have organized over 50 Overland Bound trips. With that said I’ll be the first to admit I still have so much to learn! I’ve had the fortune to call Michael (OLB Founder) and Kent (Executive Director) my friends and have witnessed first-hand their desire to see people find adventure out on the trail. Below is a link to a video Michael did about my rig, I share it as I find it helps to put a face to someone when we are meeting new people. I’m pretty much a dork in the video, and well, in person too.

My work truck stuck at the prison in Airway Heights a few weeks ago. It found the bottom of a drifted over swale pretty quickly.

Tuesday was Sherman pass coming back from Tonasket, Wednesday was Loup Loup pass coming back from Twisp. I am not looking forward to next week when the temps go up, I would much rather work and drive in single digit or below zero temps.

I know because I go across the scales at the WA port of entry pretty much every day, sometimes multiple times a day. 22k lbs give or take a few hundred pounds, it's closer to 23k with all the ice and snow on it this last week.
