Yes. I do want to be clear, if anyone is detained, we will do our best to help notify a emergency contact on their behalf, but we will continue on without them. this isn't meant to sound rude, just that we would obviously be powerless to challenge the situation. As well as to emphasize personal responsibility to ensuring save passage across the border. Not just guns but any gun accessories like ammo or spent shells will draw unwanted attention at the border crossing and possibly cost you money and denial of entry into Canada. Also any DUIs or felonies on your record even old ones can show up when you cross the border into Canada and can possibly cost you money and no entry.

When I entered last year, they asked me one question, when was the last time a weapon was in this vehicle lolI had a buddy's friend moving to Alaska with a pickup and enclosed cargo trailer. Entering Canada an empty pistol shell was found in the cab. That meant truck and trailer were torn apart and it was raining too which as a mechanic with his tools and box outside emptied was not a pleasant experience. Also an old DUI was found to be on his record from years ago. Big fine and denied entry to Canada. Fortunately his brother was along helping and had a clean record so brother ended up driving to Alaska after dropping him off at an airport to fly to Alaska.
I know I crossed the border two years ago with my C pap machine and was getting grilled pretty hard about it.
If any of you guys go shooting triple check and make your vehicles are clean of any rounds, both live and spent.
