I put together a couple portable LED lights for camp. Simple and inexpensive. The objective was to make portable lights for in the RTT, ground tent or just around camp or even under the units if need be.
The ammo box light is made form a small ammo box with white LED lights and switch, USB and 12 volt receptacle on one side and amber LED lights and switch on the other side. Box from Princess Auto (like Harbor Freight), LED lights and receptacles from Amazon and a bit of wire.
The light bar I made for attaching to my trailer or anywhere else. Has the two prong 12 volt plug, a switch for both the amber and white LED lights. The aluminum again from Princess Auto ($14) and the electrical stuff from Amazon. I stuck on good magnets so I can attach to metal surfaces and will be using hooks as well.
