How to find free camping sites on public land or campgrounds that have cam sites spread out and dont look like rv parks?

I use three apps. Ioverlander, ParkAdvisor, Free campsites. Two will show free parking with Truck stops, Walmart, Target, Costco and even repair shops. One will show national Park campsite. I use Ioverlander and Park Advisor to find spots.
From there I dig further. It's always put INTHEWOODS.
