That steel grid will be very sturdy and great for walking on, but how do you plan on keeping it from rusting? Are you going to try to powder coat it?
I think the place that made my rack also uses something like that as an option, but they even say it is near impossible to keep it from rusting over time being out in the weather. I went with plastic interlocking chicken coop flooring.

Then 2mm of bedliner to seal it off. Gonna throw up the photos when I start that next week.

AAAH! Light bar attached while welding! I don't know how well insulated it is. Does it still function alright? Nice rack build by the way, I really like your design!

65 lbs with no lights I still have a 50 inch curved four 8inch pods and two 3 inch pods to mount on it.
