HipCamp

[Misplaced Overland]

Hey all! anyone use HipCamp during their travels? I am traveling thru a part of the country with little to no public land and thought I would look at this app for reserving space on private land to camp. Some of these are great and not terribly expensive. Let me know your thoughts and experiences with this.

We have used it a few times with no problems. The accommodations and price varies. I would recommend it.

Basically its an airB&B for camping. Its a website where people rent out their privately owned land for camping. Some of them have toilets, cabins others are just primitive.

I’ve used it several times. Easy, no issues. Nice to read the feedback before you rent a site

I've used it a number of times with only one bad experience - unclear directions, unresponsive owner, and deceptive description. Just make sure you read the reviews and you'll be fine.
