Hi everyone. Figured it's about time to introduce myself. I've been driving 3rd gen 4runners for the past 6 years or so (with some light wheeling) and just bought my new to me '97 Land Cruiser. 154k miles. Tons of maintenance records. No lockers :( but otherwise in really great shape.
I'd really like to get more into overlanding and exploring more of what this beautiful state (and country) has to offer.
I've been getting some camping gear together. I got a pretty simple tent, camp chef stove, Wenzel Sleeping Bag among some other little bits.
I'd love to start outfitting the Cruiser as soon as my funds allow. So far I've been doing a lot of baseline maintenance: plugs, wires, vaccum hoses, air filter etc.
Looking forward to meeting you guys at one of these Bay Area meet ups!
