Fellow overlanders,

I thought I’d see if a page I started will get going to discuss Bronco tech, ideas, and plans for off-roading and overlanding etc. I think it’ll be a pretty laid back page and not be so much about ordering, impatience, & less repetitive. If it sounds good to ya, you’re welcome to stop by.

How many Bronco Facebook Pages do we need?

Isn’t this just vapor ware at this point? How do you customize something for which you have no detailed specs? Have fun dreaming!
I guess I should’ve waited until they started showing up at dealers to start a second FB group (I only found one prior to my group)... and thousands of members would suddenly come flocking to ask/answer questions where there are a suddenly, inexplicably a few dozen Bronco groups. The goal is to have information resources oriented to off road and overlanding specifically... trying to cater to that interest rather than ...say...mall crawling and purely cosmetics.

You’re welcome to join and ask or answer questions...or not do anything if you aren’t interested in a completely new vehicle like the Bronco is. The conversation will get better as time goes on but you have to start somewhere.

Because I interested in the 2021 Bronco.
”Hey there, I started a Bronco FB page.” lol

Then you asked how many FB pages do we need. Kinda implies you’re on FB to most people in order to know how many you’re aware of. I did a search. As far as I can see, I’m the second *shrug*. lol

I am a member on the FSB forums... there is a tracker over there Strictly for the 2022 Bronco Facebook Pages... up to 26 as of this morning. Search 2020 Bronco, 2018 Bronco, New Bronco, and you will see a lot more pop up.

Don't do facetube here, either. I don't like communicating with morons. And there's way too many on FB. I feel no need to ''follow'' them.

Even worse are the youtube overlanding, and instagram experts.

Link? I tried searching and couldn’t find a 2021 Bronco Facebook Group using their search engine.

There’s good and bad. It doesn’t make it worthless for garnering information anymore than a forum. It’s not like either venue screens the candidates by testing their knowledge.

History on the forums. I can look at a users past 500 posts.

I guess at this point I don’t understand what there is to add beyond what the brochures and videos show. Everything else is just pure speculation. Until there is hardware on the lot, you really don’t know more. Plus, you don’t even really know if the hardware promised will even work. Oh wait, I forgot, car manufacturers never over promise.

Same here. I get all my overlanding stuff here. Learned a long time ago the point of FB is to brainwash the masses and drive politics - through the facade of social posts.

Well, every day there are hundreds of posts and non stop discussion. Bronco6G forum went years with no vehicle released and they’re still talking about a vehicle that’s not on the road.

I guess I don’t see the reason to come into a thread inviting people to join a group and saying what’s the point. Well, go tell that to everyone except whoever was the first forum, FB Group, Club, etc. lol

Look, I didn’t see an off road and overlanding focused Bronco page. It’s there if someone wants to join us and talk about the Bronco or whatever within reason. I’m not an intrusive admin. The group will be laid back and friendly or it won’t be for those who aren’t. If it takes off, great. If not, nothing changes and life’s still great.

Which actually is a good point. Why are there not vehicle specific subforums here? I’d like to browse a forum on topics related to my vehicle - even dated posts. I know there’s a search, but that’s not the same.

Yeah in the chevy colorado world we got all excited when trailblazer was announced thinking it would be a great second offroad vehicle or a 4x4 suv for the wife. Then they came out and were fwd.

Now from that perspective what is gonna make this better than a f150 raptor or the ranger raptor? And what are you gonna do if it don't live up to your expectations?
