Thanks for all the help. The first night we stayed near Colorado Springs on Hermon Road. Beautiful camping spot, however, we almost had a catastrophic failure of the roof rack and RTT. We didn't get into camp until well after dark. We spent the next day fixing the issues, then headed way further west than we had hoped. We ended up at a place called Four Mile Recreation Area near Buena Vista. JD Greens was an amazing guide that put us in an epic camp spot. It was well worth the extra drive to get here. The second night was a far better experience too. Not sure if anyone is interested, We will be bringing 2 Jeeps out for Overland Mountain Expo West. We are spending days at the event and evenings actually overlanding. Maybe we can get a group together and have a meet up.
