Help planning trip to Gatlinburg area!

Hey guys i'm new here but planning a OL trip to the Smokey's in the Gatlinburg area and was wanting some recommendations from people who know the area. Any trails or campsites would be helpful, in a Ram Rebel 1500. (sorry if this kind of post isn't allowed or needs to be changed)
 
Are you planning on traveling to Gatinburg and then doing some trails/campsites? Or is this more of a trail and camp along the way to Gatlinburg? I might have some recommendations either way.
 
I’m coming from MS and headed that way, would love both. We usually stay in Gatlinburg but would love to hit a few different campsites and trails and see more of it than from a cabin.
