Hey all. My lady and I will be in Salinas/Monterey area on June 9/10 for a Spartan Race. We are looking for known dispersed camping sites that will likely be open on a weekend, or a room for rent for a night, or a in law cottage, or a spot on a lawn to pitch our tent. We can pay, but finding a suitable site in the area on the web is proving difficult.
optimally, we would love to have a shower and bathroom facilities, but are used to camping in the wild so it isn't needed. I can go jump in the ocean and clean off after my hurricane heat on Saturday night and we would be leaving pretty early Sunday, as we race at 930.
Any tips, info or hook ups are most appreciated. We will not be bringing the pets on this trip. Thanks yall.
