Yes it is and there are lots of places to explore. You just have to deal with the heat it's already 108 degrees,

Ouch! At least you are centrally located. There are lots of great spots within just a few hours of your location. I live in a city on a peninsula halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. The commute traffic never stops and adds a few additional hours on to any road trip.

Oh I like it up that way. I have a good friend who lives in Walnut Creek, I also get to go up every now and then for work. Our corp office is in the city financial district .
