After a 2 week trip boondocking from socal to colorado, I may never stay at a campsite again.
The freedom to go wherever and whenever on forest roads out to where the views are vast and crowds are few is addictive.
In a AWD highlander and a 13' homebuilt teardrop, our family of 4 explored deserts of Sedona, the cliffs of the North Rim, the mountain passes of Colorado.
No sooner after we got back, my wife caught me looking at youtube videos of more places to explore.
