Hi all. We're new to the Overland Bound experience but happy to know about it. I'm a lifelong camper who's spent 30 years trying to get my partner to like it as much as I do. Now that we have a converted van he almost does!

We have a Sportsmobile conversion, 2006 Ford E-250. We found SMB searching for class B 4X4s, but fell in love with a 2X2! We call her Grace.

This week she's at our fabulous RV guy's shop getting a new house battery and solar panel to keep her charged. Then I hit the road for a 3-4 month solo road trip! Super excited and happy to have you all along.

Welcome, I am sure that you are going to love the Sportsmobile even if it is just 2wd. It should be okay for fire trails and if you change out the tires to a more aggressive All Terrain tread and add a limited slip or locker rear axle you will be able to go pretty far off the beaten path.
