But always in hostels or hotels and always as a couple. Now I'm planning a trip to the east, solo and wild camping. On this I open a thread.

Look around here in the forums and you will find plenty of good information around overlanding.
There are quite some members in Europe. We did plenty of meetups this year and there are more to come. Have a look at the Rally Points, there you can filter by OB regions, Italy belongs to Mediterranean Region. And if you have fun organizing an event yourself, go for it, we are always happy about it.
Also check out the Europe subforums. There you will find a lot about overlanding in Europe and some active members from Europe. You can also have a look at the OB Map, we have already collected many POIs for Europe and there are more and more.
