My name is Rob and I am new to the Overland Bound community. Anyone know of some good places to get some dirt on the tires in NW Georgia??

Have you tried the Georgia Traverse yet? Great fun and lots of great camping spots. Recommend having a friend with you for Tray mountain, but overall great scenic ride! http://www.georgiaoverland.com/
First, greetings from Alabama. Second, the GA Traverse is what I was going to suggest too...I'll be trying it soon. From one new member to another, use the forums...they're great! GL, and happy overlanding.

Here are directions for an overland jaunt i fid to charlies creek. At least two water crossings and very beautiful area. Nice trout river. I mean to go back there at some point and do more exploring. Hope its useful. This is doable in a stock wrangler.
