Hello fellow Overland Bounders. We are Reggie and Seph from Colorado Springs, CO. We are new to the idea of overlanding but, planning good times ahead. I retired from the U. S. Marine Corps in 198 after 22 years and like most of you, had to continue working. Those days will be over in a year or two and we are planning to do some serious overlanding. In the mean time, we want to do as much as possible though it will be limited due to work schedules and overseas travel.

We have a 2016 Jeep Rubicon with a bunch of fun upgrades. This will be our overlanding vehicle. We have been thinking of the best way to make the limited space of the Jeep work for us since we really don't want to get rid of it. For those of you with Jeeps, you know what a challenge that is. We have considered a rooftop tent but, although we still want to get one, I believe we have decided that some type of off road camper would be more appropriate. We will have an RTT for times when the trailer has to stay at base camp for a night or two due to terrain issues such as a trip over the White Rim Trail that begins on the Schafer Trail where think a I trailer would not be a workable solution due to the tight switchbacks.

We are definitely newbies and we are happy to be a part of this group where we can learn from others experiences.

Hopefully, we will be able to participate in some Overland Bound activities in the future.

Semper Fi,
Reg and Steph
