My name in John Mantey,

I live in the San Diego California area. I am President and CEO of the nonprofit organization, Operation Overland. I became a member here with the hopes that I might find fellow Overlanding enthusiasts of different stripes. For me the vehicle matters not, the person, their integrity, and their character are first and foremost in my book.

From 2013 to 2018, I headed up the San Diego Jeep Club. In 2019, I founded my nonprofit which primarily benefits military Veterans and 1st Responders.

I hope to get to meet some good folks here.
