Wondering if anyone will be in the area while we're out there.

Sep 2 - Head to CO
Sep 5 - Alpine Loop
Sep 6 - Animas Forks, California Pass, Hurricane Pass, Cork Screw Gulch, Ophir Pass, Last Dollar Road and up to Montrose
Sep 7-9 - RimRocker Trail
Sep 10-12 White Rim Trail
Sep 13 - ?
Sep 14 - Head home

To anyone that has done the roads listed for Sep 6, can I do all that in a day?

It will be a long day but you can do it. You will need to start early. I would do them in the direction you posted, that way once you finish Corkscrew you can decide if you have time to do Ophir, likewise with Last Dollar after Ophir.
I have done Silverton-Animas Forks-California-Hurricane-Corkscrew many times.

Thanks for the time estimate. My notes show 2 hrs and it's the last road of the day so may skip if it gets too late.

Is there any reason to skip it if it gets dark? Didn't look too difficult.
Last Dollar is a really nice trip with lots of aspen fields. It dumps out just outside of Ridgeway, wich is on the way to Montrose. It is nothing nore than a gravel road so no reason to skip it. When we run Imogene from Ouray, we always return via Ophir or Last Dollar.

I talked with a few local-ish folks. The road hasn’t been maintained recently. After dark you’ll miss all the great views.
